LED Binning – Luxeon Star LEDs

What does LED "binning" mean?
I just need a few LEDs, but they must be from a specific bin. Can you check your stock to see if you have it?
I purchased some (cyan, green, red, etc) LEDs, but the color output is not what I expected. What is going on?
